At Maison 36, a Mediterranean-style garden with lemons and olive trees, Luca’s family gathered to celebrate his first birthday. Surrounded by those dearest to them, they created the kind of intimate atmosphere that makes a day feel special without needing much else.

 

Despite the 41-degree heat, the mood stayed joyful and light. The table was beautifully set under the trees, decorated with blue glassware and fresh flowers, while a small lemonade and ice cream stand offered a welcome touch of coolness. The theme, a gentle little lion (just like Luca’s zodiac sign) added a sweet, personal touch to the celebration.

 

Luca himself was calm, curious and endlessly sweet. He played with his puppy and the other children, explored the garden and shared gentle moments with his parents. As photographers, we arrived as strangers but left with the warmth of a family who welcomed us into their story, if only for a day.
